"Across The Universe"

Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup,
They slither while they pass they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind,
Possessing and caressing me
Jai guru de va om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on across the universe,
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box they
Tumble blindly as they make their way
Across the universe
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Sounds of laughter, shades of earth are ringing
Through my open ears inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which shines around me like a
million suns and calls me on and on
Across the universe
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

eternal sunshine...

...of the spotless mind

Clementine: What took you so long?
Joel: I just walked in.
Clementine: Do you miss me?
Joel: Oddly enough, I do!
Clementine: You said "I do" - I guess that means we're married!
Joel: I guess so!

Joel: Hi.
Clementine: Hi. Didn't figure you'd show your face around me again. I guess I thought you were... humiliated. You did run away, after all.
Joel: I just needed to see you.
Clementine: Yeah?
Joel: I'd like to, um... take you out, or something.
Clementine: You're married.
Joel: Not yet, not married. No, I'm not married.
Clementine: Look man, I'm telling you right off the bat, I'm high-maintainance, so... I'm not gonna tip-toe around your marriage, or whatever it is you've got goin' there. If you wanna be with me, you're with me.
Joel: Okay.
Clementine: Too many guys think I'm a concept, or I complete them, or I'm gonna make them alive. But I'm just a fucked-up girl who's lookin' for my own peace of mind; don't assign me yours.
Joel: I remember that speech really well.
Clementine: I had you pegged, didn't I?
Joel: You had the whole human race pegged.
Clementine: Hmm. Probably.
Joel: I still thought you were gonna save my life... even after that.
Clementine: Ohhh... I know.
Joel: It would be different, if we could just give it another go-round.
Clementine: Remember me. Try your best; maybe we can.

Clementine: You know me, I'm impulsive.
Joel: That's what I love about you.

Clementine: I'm gonna marry you... I know it!
Joel: Ummm... okay...

escolha

sempre, nunca

talvez...

sempre!

é a vontade de mim,
é o que sonho,
de criança
até adulta

chegou a hora
é agora ou nunca
é agora! é sempre

sempre quis
sempre esteve
sempre foi

sou eu,
completa
sou eu,
inteira

já não é sonho só
é vontade por inteiro
necessidade, como piscar os olhos
se deixar de o fazer secam!

e estas veias não secam!
esta força não pára
é tudo em mim, fora de mim

que jorra, contra estas paredes
deito abaixo todo o fugir
que não aguentam mais as pernas
de correr, tentar não encontrar

mas encontra-me!
sempre me encontra!
por caminhos esquivados
sempre volta a por-se ali

tão perto agora
tão inteiro que parece sonho.
e é sonho,
meu sonho
de sempre!

que a escolha torna agora
verdade, realidade
a escolha única
o caminho certo

sempre!

O Sósia velhinho de Jorge

O dia era 8 de Maio.
O local, comboio destino Sintra.

História do tempo

vou ficar longe.

Agora sim!

O calor ainda aquece, e o frio arrefece.

Poeta nasce poeta, morre poeta;
e sem poesia no momento, neste
momento de objectivos a pegar,
concretização a demonstrar,
e as palavras a esconderem-se
mais e mais, dentro, não escrevo,
só penso. E poeta silêncio fico.
Das frases que rasgo no papel
são lágrimas de sal a mais,
doce a menos, e o amargo condensa
deixando o inútil surgir.
Papel no lixo, caneta caída,
papel em branco, em branco,
o choro seco de inspiração sumida.
Mais uma vez, este desespero
de poeta falhado, escritor sem dom,
humano mortal, um cargo no escuro...
Poeta nasce poeta, morre poeta,
sempre poeta.

o vaziu de uma lágrima rasgada
sem batidas no peito
a pele clareia
um último suspiro
e num corpo deitado
o eterno dormir
o eterno dormir

...o eterno dormir

a me

I love you,
get grumpy when you're away.
And I feel blue,
even if only for a day.

I do not wish to tell,
to worry the loved man.
So when I'm not so well,
I hide inside and span.

SLOW DANCE

Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a
butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading
night?

You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?

You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see hissorrow?

Ever lost to uch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,"Hi"

You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift.. Thrown away.

Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

Dear All: PLEASE pass this mail on to everyone you know - even to those you don't know! It is the request of a special girl who will soon leave this world due to cancer. This young girl has 6 months left to live, and as her dying wish, she wanted to send a letter telling everyone to live their life to the fullest, since she never will. She'll never make it to prom, graduate from high school, or get married and have a family of her own.By you sending this to as many people as possible, you can give her and her family a little hope, because with every name that this is sent to, The American Cancer Society will donate 3 cents per name to her treatment and recovery plan. One guy sent this to 500 people! So I know that we can at least send it to 5 or 6. It's not even your money, just your time!PLEASE PASS ON AS A LAST REQUEST.

Momento

O metro.
- “Sam Riley” interveio ela.
A conversa continua. Ele sorri, ela responde, ele pisca-lhe o olho.
Diogo” e estende-lhe a mão.
- “Sofia”
- “Gostas de Joy Division, deu ‘pra ver”
- “Gosto mais de cinema”
As portas abrem.
- “E gostaste do filme?”
- “Muito, porque também já gostava da banda”
- “Mas gostas mais de cinema…”
Ela ri.
- “Eu conheço a tua cara” diz ele
- “Acabaste de estragar o pequeno momento”
Ele ri. – “Mas é verdade. Não andas na E.P.C.I.?”
A coincidência.
Ele ri.
As portas abrem. Um berro.
- “Diogo! ‘Bora!”
- “Sofia, gostei. Talvez eu não tenha tanto azar assim.”
- “Adeus”

Finding the lost Poem

Everything has its meaning.
Out of the blue the fat lady sings.
The cow, I saw the cow flying over the moon.
Oh well, it did look like one.

Time, never could define the meaning of that.
For me, it’s just a word.
Time does not pass by immortal souls.
And freedom sets in.

The playground opened.
The swig fixed by the old man, the grass is green.
The children can play now in peace.
Take that frown off your face, give me a smile.
There you go with that beautiful laugh.
Truly precious.
I would give everything for it.

Her hands scented like a thousand roses,
Her lips with the taste of passion fruit.
And her skin, her body, no flower nor fruit in the world
Could achieve such eloquent scent, no smell more sublime.
Her hair looked soft, fresh and untouched by any given hand.
Purity surrounds this divine creature of the heavens.
Subtitled by the marvels of the earth it self.

All moves slowly.
Clear and revealed to eyes in sight.
Rivers filled with life, spirited.
Savaging in full grace and pleasant contemplation
Of drops of rainy clouds from eternal blue skies.

The beats of loved hearts substitute the tears of sad
Moaning faces. And melted fairness on the rocks.
With blueberry apologies of untrue spoken words,
Caring for any broken chain.
The sweet and tender have given all in.

Do not rush, for any given Sunday is yours.
Do not blush, for any given word is felt.
Do not touch, for any given move is in your arms.
Do not much, for any given dream is here.

the Like

"June Gloom"

Sunsets lost in
Skies of hazy greys
June gloom sets in
Puts me in a daze
Nothing changes
All we do is wait
Our heads hanging
Shaking in dismay
Cuz everyone's afraid

Looks like the end of days
But it takes so much more
For anyone to say
We need another way
But if we wanted one
We'd do it just the same

Winter's coming
Still we're soaked in sun
Summer somehow
Split us one by one
Days are darker
Than they've ever been
But who could tell when
Summer never ends
(we've capsized in our end)

Looks like the end of days
But it takes so much more
For anyone to say
We need another way
But if we wanted one
We'd do it just the same

Words don't change a thing
Sun disguises darkness
Wish that I could save you
Wish that I could stop this

Looks like the end of days
But it takes so much more
For anyone to say
We need another way
But if we wanted one
We'd do it just the same

Editors

Já era conhecedora da sua música, tanto do primeiro álbum "The Back Room" (2005), como do último "An End Has A Start" (2007) que reinou no concerto, mas nunca os tinha visto em palco.
A banda é composta por Tom Smith (letrista/vocalista/guitarra e piano), Christopher Urbanowicz (guitarra), Russell Leetch (baixo), e Edward Lay (bateria).

I absorb everything around me, in the world, right into my life…
I overload my self!

An inspiration numbing my senses

I sit in silence. My fingers crawl up in my hands. What is the purpose?... what is the purpose.
I sit in silence. Get caught up in my thoughts. The swift of silence in me, dropping on me. The voice of control, fought against my gesture of captivating the blow of integrity.
And the shifting characters passing by, the lives within my soul. The inexpressive face, the never ending eyes, just a body. Sleepless in dreams, moaning in awaking pleasures between my self and the world. For the structure of what begins. The substitute consequences of unforgiving acts of soft harsh burps of ideas. Running. The purpose. Self taken awareness of the function of the brain. Conscious. Unconscious. I take my hands to my face, covered up sadness of the happy feelings. Below the skin lays the truth. Unspoken def words, screams of sweet anxious grabs of the future desired by me. Spilled on the palm of these empty hands. The every day stab on the chest. I need to see it, the heart. Where it all hurts. Pumping into my veins. The bloody gasp of broken cells of success. It is still to come. But I already feel it. Confusion, motivation, strength that betrays the time. When does it come? It won’t go. It bruises from the inside. A packed up reality from hell, directly. Throw it away, there is only one finger pointing at me, my own.
The sicken lips, dried up, kept shut. By the means of pause, I stop. Congested over look of the real me. Enormous hidden potential, until the time comes. If known only to some, even less to me. Where does it go? To the end, and where it all begins. The fabulous life of me, the famous last words… the tragic death of a mark. Songs written about, pictures on the wall, a movie, biographies…
To be big in a small state of mind. The impression left untouched. A desperation tear, falling, transformed into the whole being. I am crawled in my cave, awaiting for the time that surrenders the world, my world. To come out and uncover the hidden, still unrecognised talents.
I sit in silence. Crawled up in my hands.

David Lynch

Living Again

I am done. 100 % done. Over. Finished. And it feels great! It feels so good! I am happy as ever. Never again will you hurt, humiliate, despite me. Never again will I give in. You are mean, vicious. Angry and inhumane. I do not wish any harm to you, I hope you find your way and be happy. I am not painted in that picture anymore. Erased. I am back to reality, back on track, happy, enjoying life. I know what I want, I am surrounded by true friends, and that special one is right next to me again, and he makes me happy, puts sparkles in my eyes and a big smile on my face. I know my place. I am in my place, I left it for a while, thinking you were special. And you were for that while. But not anymore, those days are over. I will keep it in memory, because that is all it is. A memory of the past. And me… I am living again.
